Got my TSH test from yesterday, it is back to normal where it usually is. Strange that it went high a couple of weeks ago. I guess my feeling extra fatigued and funky is just from the Nivo. Glad I don't have to start playing with hormone dosages.
Free T3 and free T4 tests are also normal, they don't fluctuate much for me, always in the upper end of normal range.
Thanks for everyone's input on their own thyroid stuff 🙂

Hi Jenn – Glad your thyroid is OK and you don't have to deal with new problems. Just a suggestion but wondering if Ritalin would help you. My sister went on it last fall to combat fatigue, which we thought was still from the impact of WBR. She just weened herself off last month and can't believe how her energy has dropped … so, she's probably feeling true "nivo fatigue" for the first time. Just thoughts! Take care.

That's an interesting approach to fatigue that I haven't heard of before. When I see my oncologist in the office in a couple of weeks I will mention it to her and see what she thinks. I'll be seeing her next Saturday at the Miles for Melanoma 5k in San Francisco, but probably not the place to ask about Ritalin, hah! Thanks Barb.

Congratulations! I'll be having nivo # 3 for maintenance next week. I'm hoping to avoid both thyroid and colitis! Ugh! The latter has me worried………….

Thanks Todd, hope you can avoid any major side effects too, Nivo is much nicer than Ipi.. so the chances of not having anything major pop up is better.

Great news!!! Hope the Nivo side effects don't continue to wear you down.

Thanks J, glad to see you have a plan in place to give melanoma another round of butt kicking.

My thyroid is wacko.
Since May approximately: T4 .09 1.7 1.3 .4 and the TSH 3/11 .03 .04 14.36
I have my dr apt tomorrow to discuss this and hopefully schedule me for my 3rd Opdivo/Yervoy. Liver numbers going up. Gave me my first panic attack and took a xanax. No more reading test results in the evening. Wish i could see what was going on inside of my body. Gotta have faith.

Hope your doc has some answers for the crazy thyroid levels. My liver numbers tripled after my 4th combo dose when I had a 3 week fever, that's the worst I have felt since being on any treatment. Since I have been on Nivo alone I haven't had anything new or major show up except when my thyroid level was high… and now that's back down to normal.. so back to usual for me. Hope you get through these combos and move on to Nivo maintanence without too much in the way of side effects.

Thank you, nervous about my 3rd combo dose tomorrow. Took my first Synthroid this morning. Love your posts. You help me alot. You are a young woman. Keep doing well. I'm a 70 year old. Woke up at 3:30am with rash from just befow armpit down to almost my knee on one side down my back. Some of the 'hives' were the size of a silver dollar, some where small and hard, and the rest was a rash. Took Allegra, put the Trader Joes Tingle batch wash left in on for 10 mint then washed it away. No rash at all when i woke up again. Weird. I guess i should just take Allegra every day whether i need it or not.

I'm glad my posts help, I know how much it helped me to read others experiences when I was new to all this. Allegra might be a new every day pill for you. Before all this I never took a daily allergy pill, only if I needed it, now if I miss it my allergies are super bad, so I definitely blame the drugs for my newfound allergy issues too. Glad it helped you with the rash/hives.
