I just had an ultrasound guided biopsy yesterday, in order to figure out if I have the braf gene? I have 2 doctor's in a conversation about whether I should take immunotherapy drugs first, or if a surgeon should go in and remove the cancerous lymph nodes in my groin (and those around it) first. Does anyone have any thoughts about this? Just looking for some feedback. :).

The standard is to have the clnd first and then start immunotherapy. I had it done in 2013 and have not recurred at all.-

Have you had any post-surgery side affects?

My husband went straight to Keytruda. No surgery. He had two subcutaneous lumps in his back. Surgery would have required large skin grafts. They opted not to do that.

So he never needed surgery because the keytruda got rid of all of the cancer? Did he have any major side effects from the keytruda?
