    Melanoma stage 4 with metastasis in lungs and spine

    BRAF mutation

    Not responder to IPI (Yervoy)  PD-1 Inhibitor (had to be suspended) and BRAF/Mekinist combo. Waiting to be approved for a new trial Atezolizumab and MTIG7192A

      Hi Anon,  here is an article written by Catherine Poole on the MIF board. Also, did you speak with Marcus Butler at Princess Margaret hospital or Pamela Ohashi.  I am also interested in the program

      I recently had TIL treatment. In my case my yield was low, 15 billion cells and we were hoping for 10 times that.  Also my body was only able to tolerate three bags of IL-2.  So in my case it is not considered to be excess.

      However I don't think you should let that discourage you because it still has a pretty good overall response rate of 50%.

      I am trying to get into another clinical trial and subjectivity speaking the TIL  feels like it may have been slowing my cancer down somewhat.

      Josh from the board is currently undergoing TIL treatment. Hopefully he will have a better outcome to report.

      He has since progressed to brain and he now has LMD but I think we would still recommend trying TIL which can have great results.

      my only wish is that we had done it 6 months earlier and not just left until after everything else had failed.  Maybe then with less tumour burden it would have had better results.
