Bio

I was a 38 year old teacher when I was diagnosed. My husband left me shortly after diagnosis. I had a 12 year old son to raise and was determined to survive. I made it through several recurrences and managed to continue teaching while on the Interferon. It was hard, but doable. I have since retired from teaching, married again, work with abused and neglected kids, and thank God every day I AM STILL HERE and using my time to serve others.
