*Sorry, this was not showing up when I posted it initially.

        Hey all,

My mom just found out that a lump-type thing on her back was cancer, after it was biopsied. She has a meeting with a specialist on Monday to find out more information — for now though, we are all kind of confused as to the type and severity of the cancer, based on the biopsy results. I know that waiting for the specialist is the best course of action, but in the meantime it would be great to get some extra information. I uploaded pictures of the biopsy reports to imgur (https://imgur.com/a/imsc2). If I can get any assistance I would greatly appreciate it.

        Info about her:

She's 60, female, 5'6, 160ish. Had the lump on her back for over a year, just got it checked out. No existing cancer. Not sure what else to add to avoid auto-delete.

Edit: A couple things that make me optimistic — she has regular mammograms, and no signs of breast cancer. She has regular chest xrays/mris due to a couple non-relevant conditions she had in the past (aortic aneurysm and a back surgery). And she has no symptoms, aside from the lump, she has been feelings fairly good lately. Figured I'd add that stuff in because what I understand from the biopsy is that it COULD be either based in the sweat glands(where it was found, I believe), or it could have spread from either the breasts, gi tract, or lungs (which, presumably, would be not great).
