									<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>Just a quick update. I am at the 5 year NED stage now. I no longer require scans. I’ll see my dermatologist every 6-12 months for life. </p>
<p>I try not to think about it too much and trying to live my life again but it is hard. </p>
<p>Tragically some of those that helped me either here or via messages have since passed away. 									<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>I was worried about this lymph node in my neck that’s been getting bigger / smaller consistently for two or three months now, but they said it doesn’t look cancerous and seems to be reactive.</p>
<p>What it’s reacting to I have no idea because I haven’t been sick but I did have a cut inside my mouth for a bit so maybe that was it.</p>

									<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>Thank you Celeste! It was half the size when I woke up today. Yesterday it was well over an inch. This is a relief. I haven’t reached out to my oncologist yet. Going to see how it looks by Tuesday and if it hasn’t improved I’ll reach out.</p>

<p>My next set of scans are in July. If I’m NED then it will be 1.5 years. However I just found a lump under my chin. To me it feels like a lymph node. It’s hard, and painless. None of the other nodes in the area are swollen.</p>

<p>I&#8217;m meeting my oncologist, Dr. Salama at Duke in NC tomorrow, but my results are in for my CT scan and they say no evidence of metastasis, so that&#8217;s officially 1 year NED since my surgery was January 2020.</p>

<p>I’m genuinely upset but this so I can only imagine what it’s like for those that knew him.</p>
