I'm stuck in 3a hell! Too sick to to not do anything and not sick enough for the best drug. I had a bilateral CLND as both sides of my lymph nodes were positive. It is not fun but it is doable. What I learned too late and wished I knew ahead of time is you can't have BP, injections and blood draws. So I now since both arms have been done I get everything done in my legs and feet which can be a lot title uncomftable.
My my only option was interferon until I get sicker. Inferon is tough bt at least I feel I'm doing something. Good luck!

I'm a 47 year old female stage 3a. I had a 3mm in my right under arm lymph node and 1mm in my left. I went back for the complete bilateral lymph node dissection and all 53 came back negative. I go to medical oncologist on 2/3. I hVe been told interferon is suspected. I have had people say don't do it and I do respect that opinion but if that is the option presented to me I will do it. I am really wanting a trial but if not this is the way I'm going.
Im determined to move foward and not second guess myself. I wish you peace with whatever you choose!

I am slightly upset about my body at this point. I was never going to be a model or run round in the buff but I didn't necessary want to look worse than I did. I feel like a science experience gone wrong! What really freaks me out is I'm pretty early in this. I think we are who we are and sometime we have to allow ourselves to face the facts that thus is shocking to us. Sending hugs to all of us!

Agree probably 3a. I am a 3a as well. I have had my complete lymph node dissection after the SLND was positive on both sides. My right side showed a 3mm tumor. The left was 1mm. My complete showed no additional cancer. I wish you good luck if you do the complete node dissection and I wish you no additional cancer.
