Bio

My name is Kelly. I am 29 years old, and newly diagnosed…also 34 weeks pregnant. To say that I am terrified would be an understatement. After 7 months of misdiagnosis, I finally find out that it’s melanoma. I had a SLNB on Jan. 29th, with one node positive for micro metastases. I am now in limbo…I can’t do anything as far as treatment goes, until my baby is born. I meet with an oncologist today (2/10/14) to talk about what comes next. I will have CLND, as the surgeon says this is best. Any advice/encouragement would be greatly appreciated.
