I have used zerowares.com for over 3 years now, and have never gotten an actual “infected” piece of software & mod apk. A lot of the software requires keygens, cracks, or activators, which do trigger AV software, but because they are intended to crack pirated software. I extract everything into a VM, extract all available exes to see the contents, look at all relevant scripts and dlls, run it through virustotal, and then I do an install within a VM and monitor everything running. I am not saying you won’t ever get a virus, but if you are going to get pirated software, this is one of the “safest” options. Just stick to software with a LOT of reviews. They DO take down iffy software, I have verified that myself. I have 30 years of Network Engineering experience.
