Biopsy results for melanoma has not been received yet for my mother. She has a very large spot on her cheek. Dermatologist said it was melanoma even before the biopsy and stated she will need testing to see if it’s in her lymph nodes. Her identical twin sister had skin cancer as well as her other two sisters. I’m wondering if this cancer runs in the family.
