Bio

I am a soon to be 38 y/o stay-at-home mother of two (I was 36 when I first noticed the melanoma — and believe that I had it at the same time as having papillary thyroid cancer, for which the treatment was a total thyroidectomy). My children were 1 and 4 during all this.

There is no known genetic cause for these cancers, and I am hoping to put it all behind me. I had read so many scary things about melanoma that on a bad day I am convinced it will take my life one way or the other.
