This is the seventh issue of the Child Care in Australia quarterly data report under the youngster care framework presented on the second of July 2018. It presents information for the March quarter 2020 period and gives data on youngster care utilization, administrations, charges and appropriations in Australia including for states and domains.
Key Highlights

Generally, 1,376,470 kids and 986,000 families went to a Child Care Subsidy endorsed youngster care focus in the March quarter 2020. Of these, 1,318,900 youngsters and 933,550 families had their qualification for Child Care Subsidy evaluated.

The rest of the ChildCare Services in Australia examination considers just those youngsters who were qualified for the CCS.

In the March quarter 2020, 45.1 percent of kids matured 0-5 years and 31.8 percent of kids matured 0-12 years utilized supported youngster care.

Normal week after week hours per kid across all assistance types was 25.2 hours. For Center Based Day Care the normal was 30.0 hours per youngster, or roughly three days of the week.

All out endowment (Child Care Subsidy and Additional Child Care Subsidy) was $1.94 billion for the March quarter 2020.

The normal hourly expense across all consideration types (barring In Home consideration) was $10.00, mirroring an increment of 4.4 percent since the March quarter 2019.

During the March quarter 2020, there were 1,318,900 youngsters who went to endorsed kid care and were qualified for Child Care Subsidy. This addresses a quarterly lessening of 1.6 percent (or 21,070 kids) from the December quarter 2019 and a yearly increment of 1.0 percent (or 12,610 kids) since the March quarter 2019. The quantity of kids going to Family Day Care diminished essentially by 13.5 percent from 124,490 youngsters to 107,670 kids throughout the year to the March quarter 2020. This is generally because of consistence measures carried out by the Government to address deceitful movement.
