Bio

Note – I have participated on the MPIP (currently the MRF bulletin board) since the summer of 2005. Eventually I will try to condense my profile which I’ve been maintaining for five years (they used to be called patnets).

In a nutshell I was diagnosed with a very deep nodular primary (at least 6.9 mm shave biopsy), I had another 2.8 mm of residual melanoma removed during the wide excision, and I had one positive node. I haven’t had any recurrences following my LND in March 2005 although I’ve had numerous scares and “issues”. I had a complete left groin LND. I chose not to do interferon which was the treatment I was offered at the time. I am followed by numerous specialists but have not had any treatment following surgery.
