Hi Charlie S,
Weather you know it or not you have been an amazing influence on myself and many people on this board. I have only written a few times Since my husband was diagnosed in 2010.
Last week you wrote about feeling "spooked" something that not only made you seem human but more real for the rest of us. You have had melanoma in your life for a LONG time (something that gives the rest of us hope….yeah right lucky you)
Please let us know how you made out because I know you have MANY friends on this board who would like to know.

Thank you for your kind words and concern Jewel. Philosophy aside, I'm a where the rubber meets the road kinda guy melanoma wise and my approach isn't one for everybody.
That said, melanoma wise, my scans were nothing new, nothing bigger and something smaller. My concerns were mainly neurological in my envelope, but turned out to be related to my MS and not my MM.
Right symptoms, wrong disease……………sorta. I developed MS folllowing IL-2, and though anecdotal, I beleive there is a correlation. But that is just me.
All that aside, I just happen to be a guy unlucky enough to know how lucky I am over the years.
Cheers,
Charlie S

Thank you for taking the time to reply and let all your friends know how your doing.
We are all thrilled to hear the melanoma is stable, but saddened to hear you are dealing with the effects of MS. You are strong my friend and whatever kind of rubber on the road you decide to use….may it ALWAYS work for you.
There will come a day when I will need the advise of all you "Old Timers". May you give me the the "honest" advice I seek for both myself…..but most importantly my husband.
Cheers, ( I hope I don't offend you by using this)

Charlie,
So it's sounds good on the melanoma front, sorry your dealing with MS. You said something smaller, so your disease is active? Or is it just slowly getting necrotic. My husband did IL-2 and I'm always worried about what other effects it had on him.
Thanks for updating us, we all appreciate your input always.
