Found the predictor on teh Sloan Kettering site that said I had a 8% chance of sspread to SNB.

Had WLE and SNB on Jan 4, 2017. Just got results.

    WLE negative

I have used that word before but now I really mean it.

Being referred to ENT for CLND of neck and Oncology.

I  am in Canada so care is free but wait is issue.

Sorry to hear that your SNB was positive. Same thing happened to mein Dec. and it's real scary to get those results. This is a great forum for support though.

Real sorry to hear that news. It's just devastating at first isn't it. My hubby found out he had spread to groin lymph node and we had everything pinned on it being a negative result. It just feels like such a marthon at this time, with no end. What we found is that you do adjust to the news after a little while (my hubby also was expecting a negative result). Stage 3 really is not he end of the world though and it certainly doesn't mean a recurrence is in anyway an inevitability. The fact your primary was not ulcerated, not thick and the spread was microscopic in your lymph nodes are all positive things. Hope you have lots of support at this time…. It's tough x

Thanks for your support. Since starting this process I am constantly grapping hold of the few positives I get with each test.  I wish you and your family the best. Take care.
