My husband has been dealing with debilitating pain and swelling get in his ankles. The doctors say it’s a reaction to the meds and to take benadryl. Can anyone tell me what is actually happening and if there is anything else he can do. He hates benadryl.

My husband has severe back pain from a previous accident, broken back……he is on BRAF/MEK and his wrists and his back were excruciating.  Antiinflammatories , IBprofin……but actually, he is now using medical marijuana oil…..a drop under his tounge and it helps the pain.  We live in California so it is available.  I wish that I had better advice, its so hard to deal with pain from the medicines helping the cancer…..

      Good luck,

      Rita

Unfortunately the doctor doesn’t want him to ingest Marijuana of any kind. It’s devastating to watching in this much pain. I feel he is about to call it quits on the drug if this persists.
