      I had to request a new pass word which is only good for 24 hrs, how do I change my password?

          Click on your own name on any post to get to your profile. There is a tab for "Profile" and a tab that says "Edit". Click the Edit tab. Near the bottom of that page is a place to enter the new password they gave you and to enter the password you prefer.

          By the way, if you have not yet completed your profile, it will help us help you in the future if you fill out your profile and give us your history.

              I don't want to appear too stupid but when they send me the password it's just a link to click on not the password itself. I did fill out a profile already

                No, you're not stupid. Well, maybe you are, but not about this password stuff. (LOL!!)

                When I registered, the "Welcome" email I got from MRF gave me my username and my assigned password so that I could logon. It also provided a link that would let me skip the logon page. If your Welcome email is that way, use the password they gave you as your current password on your Profile/Edit page and then enter the password you want to use from now on. And thanks for completing your profile.
