Hi,
I don't know any specialists by name but Creighton University Cancer Center has a melanoma and skin cancer center. The following information is from our Melanoma Treatment Center list, which we have verified as seeing a lot of melanoma patients. Be sure to let me know if you have any other questions. The MRF can't give out specific physician recommendations but you may get some responses on here.

Hi there,
Not sure how far you're willing to travel, but I see Dr. Doolittle at the KU Cancer Center in Kansas City and he's wonderful!
I moved to the KC area (from Boston) about a year and a half ago, and I was nervous about finding a mel specialist — I couldn't be happier with Dr. Doolittle and the KU Cancer Center. Definitely top rate!
Best of luck!

I had a suspicious mole removed 11-9-11 which turned out to be melanoma that had 1 cell actively dividing during a look under the microscope. The dermatologist I saw was Dr. John Ferguson at Physicians Clinic. He referred me to Dr. George Dittrick, at Estabrook Cancer Center, an Oncology Surgeon specializing in melanoma and other cancers. I was in to see the surgeon on 11-21-11 and was scheduled for surgery 12-13-11 per my choice. I could have been in sooner. I had to have a wide excisional biopsy at the site where the mole was removed and sentinal lymph node mapping and biopsy. I received the clean biopsy results on 12-16-11.
I live outside of Omaha, but only about 20 minutes away. I thought that the office personel and nursing staff were great and Dr. Dittrick explained everything to me. Right now I don't remember the staging of the melanoma, but unless something else occurs, only surgical treatment needed.
