      Hi Everyone:

I just completed my 17th round of keytruda today and my last petscan showed no evidence of diease. Yeah!!!!  I am currently stage IV.  Even with the good news I worry about recurrence and my outlook for survival.  I don't worry about this everyday and try to live each day as a blessing. Alot of days I forget I have melanoma.   I saw my oncologist  today and asked her the same question I have been asking according to my daughters.  What is the 5 year survival rate for metastatic cancer.  She stated it is 45% but also stated based on the key note 006 90% of the patients have had a complete response, stable, or no progression.  10% have had a recurrence.  I know this is very promising and those are terrific percentages. So,  I don't know why I keep asking the same question over unless I am subconsciously worrying about this or I am mentally blocking out her responses.  Maybe, I need to visualize see it.  I am hoping someone can help me with the answer in a simple format.   Also, has anyone else experienced this and how did you deal with it?  I really want to stop worrying about it and concentrate on the present.  Looking forward to your advice.

      Thanks
