    I got the results of my 14 week scan on ipi/nivo combo. I had 7 mets between both lungs. 5 are gone or to small to show on the scan and the other 2 are down to 2.5mm and 2mm. I will continue on my current treatment plan. I've had a very dry mouth for about 5 weeks now, dr gace me a prescription for artifical saliva but doesn't seem to help.

      My last dr. appointment my dr. commented that my mouth was dry but I haven't necessaily noticed it.  How dry is your mouth?

        I have never had dry mouth issues in my life. I have to carry water everywhere I go. It gets so dry in my throat that I can't swallow and feel like I am going to choke. I can't carry on a conversation without drinking every few words. My mouth gets so thick that white strings start forming between upper and lower lips when I open and close my mouth. It is so dry I can't spit. But, there are people who have much worse side effects so I just deal with it and thankful I don't have worse.

        Have you tried dry mouth lozenges? I had dry mouth for a while during the beginning of Ipi treatment, kept those lozenges on me all the time as well as water. Starting the Ipi/Nivo combo on Wednesday, won't be surprised if the dry mouth comes back for me.

        Yes I have, also the gum that is suppose to quinch thirst but neither worked. I have never had dry mouth so I don't know if I have normal dry mouth, not that bad or really bad.
