Hi

I’m sorry if it’s a repeat of what advice has been given before, because my latest update is so similar now to Jenny’s husbands story from a recent post!

Bad news re latest scans, received on Friday . The recent change to immunotherapy treatment from nivo mono therapy to 4 doses of ipilimumab mono therapy, which I finished 2 weeks ago, hasn’t worked and the 5 existing brain tumours are now bigger and there are more in addition –

“and the appearance of multiple new intracranial metastatic lesions especially in relation to the lepto meninges.”

I’ve been started oral Temozolomide chemotherapy treatment yesterday morning.

If that’s not successful then my oncologist will try enco/bini. Does that sound like the best course of action? For those that remember my previous posts, I never did get the stereotactic radiotherapy I was after! My consultant is however agreeing to get a second opinion.

I’m devastated!😞Any advice re what my options could be or positive feedback would be greatly appreciated 🥺🥺Xx
