I just wanted to share here because I know so many of you have experienced the same emotion….

I had micromets in my sentinal node.  It was actually missed by the first pathologist.  So because of that, I  just had the clnd and heard that 34 nodes were removed and ALL were clear!!!! Yay!!!

I was just excited and wanted to share!heart

Congratulations, Happy_girl. Now that you know your nodes are clear after the clnd, are you going to pursue any other treatment? I'm waiting to find out if I need a clnd, so I'm curious.

      What great news!

Fantastic news!!  I had a huge, deep melanoma on my back.  I had micro-mets in the sentinel node, and all were negative after that.  I ended up opting for watch and wait, and so far, I'm 1 years and 8 months NED (but who's counting?).  I remember how relieved I was when I found out that none of my lymph nodes from my dissection were positive.

Best of luck in your journey!
