      Tracy,

Sometimes learning the truth can really open up your mind. There is no real proof that the sun causes melanoma, even the American Cancer Society admits that they don't know the real cause of melanoma. In my case, I worked night turn for over 40 years and was not in the sun and still developed melanoma. Since then I have boosted my vitamin D levels into the highest range which is known to help fight all types of cancers. I firmly believe that this has helped me with my battle against melanoma. My question for you is as more and more people spend more time indoors why are melanoma rates increasing? A suggestion for you is to have your blood tested for a vitamin D deficiency.

      Best wishes,

      Gene

Here is another take on Dr. Mercola and vitamin D.

Knowledge is good. Knowledge when applied with common sense is great.  Knowledge is knowing that a tomato is a fruit.  Common sense is not using them in fruit salads.
