After more than 4 yrs on taf/mek my most recent MRI is showing a local recurrence from the incomplete resection of a tumor removed (mostly) from my parotid as well as enlarged lymph nodes in the area. Since I had progression on Keytruda, and had to stop vemurafenib due severe AR, I’m wondering what my chemical options might be. Trying to preserve my facial nerve so surgery and/or radiation are a last choice…

I am sorry you are dealing with this JR. There are many patients on this board (and certainly in the literature) who – though they may have progressed on Keytruda or Opdivo when used as single agents – have good results when subsequently treated with the ipi/nivo (Yervoy/Opdivo) combo.Another option that may be a really good one for you to consider are intralesionals – drugs that are injected locally into a superficial lesion. Here are tons of reports that you may want to see and then talk to your doc about: reports and articles on intralesionals
