    After two infusions of the combo of Keytudra and Ippi Juan started to have serious issues breathing. He was admitted to University of Chicagohospital on Thursday. Scans showed that in 6 weeks the small tumors in his lungs had quadrupled in size resulting in serious issues breathing. He is cirrently in ICU. Dr Luke is trying one last ditch effort and Juan recieved Chemo of carboplatin and paclitaxel to try and stop the aggressive tumor and give him time to stablize and possibly other opportunities with newer drugs or treatments to save him.  Keep him in your thoughts and prayers and lets hope for a  miracle.

      So sorry you guys are in this position, especially during the holidays. My heart goes out to you, just know your mel family will be thinking of you and praying this works. Don't give up. Pray like crazy.

      Don't loose hope, there are many people that have been through similar ordeals and have pulled through, hopefully Juan will too…

      Stacey, this is heartbreaking to hear. I like Juan had significant progression in 6 weeks. I just want to scream. So many of us are in dire struggles here. I'm just pissed off at this disease. I'm praying for Juan along with so many others. This MPIP forum and so many of us need Christmas miracles!!!
