I had a groin SLNB, which was negative, back in October with a good recovery. Most numbness is gone with minimal to no swelling. The problem is I occasionally get a pinching burning pain throughout the day. Is this tyical?

I also had a groin SLNB in November and get the same feeling once in a while, it is not as frequent as before but every once in a while if I am sitting for a while or in certain positions it will happen.

Thanks for the reply! Glad to know that this may be just the healing process. The actual pinching is about 6 inches from my scar, but still where there is some swelling, and really hurts when it happens!

I had fuid build up under the incision and the pinching feeling was worse when that was there, just a couple of weeks ago I noticed the fluid build up is finally gone! Healing definitely takes some time.

Yes, my swelling is definitely fluid. Not bad, but there.
