      My husband had adjuvant therapy with Abraxane.  He is almost 3.8 months NED.  I remember reading about a stage IV that had a great response to Abraxane last year on the Board.  Maybe you can do a word search?

        3 years and 8 months NED.

        Minimal side effects.  He slept for about 2 days after infusion and felt fine the rest of the month.  He did lose hair temporarily.

      We are doing great.  My husband is 4 years no evidence of disease.  We have 4 little boys now.

      My husband was treated by Dr. Ed McClay in Vista.  Great melanoma specialist.  We received opinions from Georgetown, Sloan Memorial, Los Angeles Clinic and few others.  We picked Dr. McClay–went with our gut.  l am from San Diego, but live on the East Coat.
