Hi. I was diagnosed with stage 4 melanoma in April 2020. I had the 4 treatments of Yervoy and Opdivo with great results. Now I’ve had 12 out of 24 monthly treatments of a double dose of Opdivo. Thank you JudiAU. Could you keep me posted if your blood work changes. Mine have been pretty steady throughout this process. I’m 64 so I should be able to get the vaccine now without too much delay. My onc recommends getting it halfway between infusions but I don’t think they are very lenient with the appointments.

Thank you all for your comments. These really do help me. I had very good response to the Yervoy/Opdivo treatments and am now 8 months into the monthly double dose of Opdivo. CatScans show I’m “basically” cancer free with very little side effects. Right now I am more afraid of the Opdivo / vaccine combo than I am of the virus. I checked out…Read more
