Dr Wei ( UCSF)  prescribed me a Vit D test a few years ago and I was as low as you are. I had a prescription of Vit D at a very high dose to boost my level. I am currently at 2000 ui per day and my level is fine. She made me retest my level every year but so far I am good.

I am a patient at UCSF myself too ( my Doc is Dr Daud). I was diagnosed 3c in September last year. I followed his advise to keep the tumor and try ipi/nivo. After 3 infusions my tumor( I could feel it under my skin ( left groin) started  to decrease and by Christmas I couldn't feel it. I had bad side effects afterward ( colitis) and my thryroid seemed to be damaged permanently. I am NED and be very grateful to be followed at UCSF. I sincerely hope that it will work for you too.

Yes I had also a low T cell infiltration ( I am currently treated at UCSF ) and he advised me to go for a combo ipi/nivo  ( that is more agressive) instead of only nivo. My tumor disppeared quickly after the third infusion ( I could feel it at that time in  my groin).

      Hope it will help,

      Hi,

I was diagnosed with stage 1b on my left foot in 2010. I had a SNB that came back negative. They performed a very wide excision on my left foot instead of a graft as I was told it was difficult to do it on a foot and the risk of infection is higher on it. I couldn't walk for a week and had to keep my foot high as much as possible for a month. They removed the las stitich one month after the surgery. I don't think it that the fact it is on a foot is worst that somewhere  else, your doctor wants just to be sure that he doesn't start spreading somewhere else.

      Best,

I have been a patient of doctor A Daud for more than a year now. I am 3C . He declared me unresectable so I was able to undergo a ipi/nivo treatment. After 3 infusions I developed bad side effects and I was very happy by the quality of care I received during that time. Nurses, receptionist, doctor are very professional and nice. For blood tests, CT/PT scan I didn't have to go to Mount Zion but went to Mission bay: it is closer for me ( I live in south Bay).

      Wish you the best,
