I do understand most people won't experience what I have but I wanted to share what could happen just because when I was making my decision as to what treatment to take there wasn't a lot on here as to what happens when things do go wrong. I would have probably still made the same choice for treatment but I would have preferred more information from the start.

Thank you. I'm really nervous to start treatment because of the severe side effects but I did choose ipi over other treatments because it is the most aggressive proven treatment available to me. I've read a lot of severe reactions I'm just hoping that is not the norm.

I have Cigna and they have this awesome thing where they say what the price should be and it always seems like it's under what the actual cost is and I'm forced to pay the difference that is on top of my $2500 yearly deductible

My nerve and  muscle pain is from my knee to my ankle I have hightened nerve sensitivity and shooting pains almost like I'm being electrocuted so I'm unable to walk.  I do still have my draining but I do have lymphedema and swelling in my leg. I'm still seeing the same surgeon she's not really knowledge any of the pain. I've got a home nurse going to remove my JP drain one last appointment with the surgeon then I move onto medical oncologist to start treating my cancer
