Bio

My name is Gemma. I am 27 years old and live in New Zealand. I was diagnosed with metastatic melanoma in October 2019. I have multiple lesions throughout my body including the lungs. I am receiving pembro (key truda) every 3 weeks. Going forward I am studying to be an early childhood teacher and really hope I get to have kids of my own. I live withy husband and our 2 cats and rabbit. We love going to church where we have a great support group and a strong Christian faith. I enjoy the beach, reading, writing, colouring. I wake up every morning with a positive outlook and thank God for each day that I am well and alive. I believe I can beat this and so can you. Have faith in yourself and never give up!
