Last week they did ultrasounds and used various machines to take photos of his eye. <p>This past Thursday I made the drive up to St. Louis to Washington University with my dad for his appointment. For the past several months we&#8217;ve driven up there for them to do the same tests over and over. From what I have gathered from his first appointment to get his eye looked at for the detached retina, his first doctor saw a black mass that he thought looked to be cancer. He eventually went to the eye doctor and they saw that not only did he have a detached retina, but he also had a mass show up during their check up.
