All, I noticed Brian's post on Stand Up to Cancer.  I missed it live, but the show is available on the Stand Up to Cancer website.  Brian's story is featured towards the end of the show (around minute 50 or so).  Amazing story about an amazing guy and family.  Brian, so glad to hear that you're treatment is going well.  That was a tough haul to and from Houston, but obviously worth the effort.

Yep, great show the other night, all the Who’s Who was there, and im assuming “Brian” was our Melanoma brother on the show right? I forgot his name but remember his story, US Marine, noticed spot on chest & as diagnosed as Melanoma…thank god his treatment is doing him well…Semper Fi Brian!

Brian was in the town next to us in California doing the show! We flew in at the last min to meet with Dr Hamid for options. Jake and Brian were able to sit and talk awhile. So grateful. Jake has never talked to anyone with melanoma like him. Never. And I don’t think he ever talks to anyone about it at all. Brian was so good with him. Jake is more willing to look at the trials available including the adoptive T-cell trial Brian did. No accidents:)

                  Brian is one good guy!

This is amazing!!! It's always so heartwarming to see people who have been through tough times come back and raise awareness. It's so hard to share our stories – it takes bravery just to talk about what we've REALLY been through. Go Brian!!!

Thanks everyone.  It was a great experience.  My story pales in comparision with a lot of folks on here buy I was honored to be chosen as a patient ambassador  It was also great meeting Kerri and Jake.

Quickly got back to reality as we had to evacuate for Hurricane Florence as soon as we got home.  Praying that it's not as bad as the forecast are making it out to be.
