      Linda,

I was sorry to hear about your latest news. Here's the thing, MACVAC is ONLY administered out of HOAG..but….

When I was looking for this trial, I asked all my docs speciifically if there was a treatment out there that would use my own tumor to build a targeted treatment for me. I didnt' just..think it up. I barely smarter than your average idiot.

I READ about it here! I mean I read, in a general way, much earlier, about such treatment being done at NCI. I don't remember the details or the trial name or anything (thank you interferon for helping me on the road to crappy memory) But I do remember how it rang a bell in me. Seems to me it was Dr Rosenberg back then, harvesting Tumor cells and harvesting white blood cells and it all sounded so promising to me. It was somewhat different than what I have done..it didn't use leukine, which a lot of folks in the field have decided is not effective. Maybe it was using IL 2

I wish I could remember more about it. Perhaps if you start a new thread about it, someone else out there will have some details or help for you.

      good luck girl.
