      Hi David,

Returned home late last night (Wednesday) after 1st treatment on Tuesday.  Feeling great with no side effects of any kind from either Ipi or Temador.  Had to stay and extra hour on saline solution after 90 minutes for the Ipi infusion.  I am taking the Temador at bedtime (10 pm or so) with the anti naseua medication 30 minutes before.  I have been told to NEVER skip the anti naseau medicine (Zofran), so it seems to do its job.  The Temador goes for 4 days, with 4 pills each dose.

From what I have learned, you can have more and/or different side effects as you move forward.  So things may happen the 2nd or 3rd course that did not happen the first time around.  My attitude is – so far, so good!  I watched the Ipi drip and said to myself "now let's go kick Mels butt!".  Wishing you the best – be strong and stay in touch.  You can also reach me at [email protected]
